Joint Council on International Children’s Services (JCICS) Joint Council on International Children’s Services is the world’s oldest and largest affiliation of licensed, non-profit international adoption agencies. JCICS membership also includes parent groups, advocacy organizations and individuals who have an interest in international adoption. JCICS member agencies subscribe to established standards of practice designed to protect the rights of children, birth parents and adoptive parents.

Korean Focus provides families, adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents touched by Korean adoption with information and programs on Korean culture and the adoptive experience. RUSSIAN/EASTERN EUROPE Families of Russian and Ukrainian Adoption (FRUA) FRUA is an international parent support network for families who have adopted, or are in the process of adopting, from the former Soviet Union, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and other Eastern European countries. FRUA is not an adoption agency, nor do they place children.
Colorado Coalition of Adoptive Families (COCAF) The Colorado Coalition of Adoptive Families is a non-profit formed in 1999 by a group of families who desire to increase the amount of information and resources available to Colorado’s pre- and post-adoptive and kinship families. Their primary goals are to provide information to, and advocate for, families at all phases of the foster-adopt/adoption/kinship process.

Society of Special Needs Adoptive Parents (SNAP) SNAP is a non-profit that helps families with challenges through mutual support, information, sharing and advocacy. SNAP offers services to a wide range of families, professionals and others who are interested in family-related, adoption and special needs issues.
Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) The CWLA is the oldest national organization serving vulnerable children, youth and their families. CWLA provides training, consultation and technical assistance to child welfare professionals and agencies while also education the public on emerging publications, conferences and teleconferences. CWLA shares information on emerging trends, specific topics in child welfare practice (family foster care, kinship care, adoption, positive youth development) and federal and state policies.
Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption The vision of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is that “every child will have a permanent home and a loving family.” The foundation strives to make the vision a reality by funding various national initiatives that directly affect waiting children and by expanding the public’s awareness of adoption.
